The highland bagpipe is unlike any other instrument in the western music tradition. The aspiring bagpiper needs guidance in laying the groundwork of both proper technique and musical expression. Simply put -- if you want to be a good piper, you need a teacher!  
    Kit Rashid has had the good fortune to have studied with some of piping's greats, including PM Jimmy McIntosh MBE, PM Jimmy MacGregor, and PM Ian McLellan BEM of the world-renowned Strathclyde Police Pipe Band. Grounded in a musical tradition passed on for hundreds of years, Kit Rashid's students have consistently achieved a high level of mature musicality and competitive success.
